Ilan Guest B.TRP (Pretoria) M.CRP (Atlanta)

Professional Planner | GIS Specialist

Ilan graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Town & Regional Planning in 2001. Focused on improving the use of spatial data technologies for development planning, Ilan was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship to the United States in 2006 where he completed a Master of City Planning at Georgia Tech, Atlanta with majors in GIS and Remote Sensing.

Upon his return in 2008, Ilan founded SATPLAN ALPHA as a niche geospatial services provider to the public and private sectors, and has helped build a diverse project portfolio that includes such clients as the South African National Space Agency, North West Provincial Housing, Gauteng Tourism Authority and Bakgatla Ba Bakgafela Traditional Administration.

Sifiso Mtimunye B.TRP (Pretoria) (2016)

Junior Planner | Designer

Sifiso graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Town and Regional Planning in 2016 with major in Sociology, and was a recipient of the Golden Key International Honour Society Award for academic achievement during 2013. Sifiso is also a graduate of the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation Youth Leadership Programme.

Sifiso has a strong artistic flair extending throughout his work, which is highlighted by his passion for GIS, front-end web development and visual communication media.
